The SUPERA METHOD started in November 2005, after two years of hard work and research conducted by ITA (Aeronautical Technology Institute) graduated engineer Antonio Carlos Guarini Perpétuo and a team of professors and pedagogues. It was a dream come true to effectively contribute to his children’s and Brazilian youth’s development, so they can become happy, ethical, socially responsible, emotionally balanced and successful adults.
The Supera Method is not a course with contents; it is an efficient method developed from logical exercises and calculus practice with the abacus. It is the first school in Latin America intended to develop the brain.
It is intended to increase students’, youngsters’, adults’ and senior citizens’ cognitive capacity. Improving in this way, creativity, concentration, focus, logical thinking, confidence, self-esteem, perseverance, discipline and motor coordination.
It is a transforming and efficient method that, through extracurricular activities, increases interest, absorption and retention capacity of the entire school program, not only in math, but also in all knowledge areas. The course lasts from one to two years, depending on student’s dedication, and it is divided into ten levels. Classes are ministered once a week, lasting two hours. At advanced levels, students use the acquired skills and, projecting an imaginary abacus in their mind, they start calculating mentally, working the creative side of the brain.
The method is very well accepted by children, youngsters and adults because the classes are dynamic and contagious. The innumerous pedagogues and educators who evaluated the method approved it with enthusiasm and identified it as something really positive for Brazilian education. The surprising results presented by students just confirm the method’s expected efficiency.
